This drawing captures the intensity of a young woman’s gaze as she peaks around a corner. Behind her are a variety of mask-like creatures that are following and watching the subject, as she watches us. I find this piece to be confronting. When I look at it I feel like she is showing me what it is to have power or control over your inner demons, and with that I feel the motivation to continue walking on a path of inner growth, light, and strength.
